How to Measure Your Glass Sliding Door Height

1. Open your glass sliding door.
2. Place a measuring tape at the top inside channel of the door.
3. Measure straight down to the bottom inside channel, keeping the tape as close to the door frame as possible.

This will give you the as close as possible height needed for your PatioLink Pet Door Insert.

Quick & Easy Installation

1. Open your glass sliding door.
2. Place the pet door insert into the bottom track.
3. Tilt the insert slightly to position it easily.
4. Extend the top adjustable panel to fit your door height.
5. Turn the two black knobs clockwise to lock the top panel in place.

And that’s it — your pet door insert is securely installed and ready for your pet!

Adaptor is optional feature / add on.

By installing an adaptor, you will be able to close BOTH Glass and Screen door into an adaptor panel.

Enjoy breeze coming inside and keep unwanted bugs out! Excellent feature!

You will need to have a Pop Rivet gun so you can attach L profile behind the adaptor panel. We will supply you with pop rivets.

Installing a Pet Door Insert in a Corner with a Fixed Glass Panel

1. Locate the screws around your fixed glass panel. Check that you have access to remove them.
2. Carefully remove the screws and slide the fixed panel aside.
3. Position the PatioLink Pet Door Insert in the corner where the fixed panel was.
4. Slide the fixed panel back so it sits snugly against the pet door insert.
5. Secure the fixed panel in its new position by adding a couple of screws at the top of the fixed door frame.

This allows you to install the pet door insert in the corner without damaging your existing glass panels.

If your glass sliding door track is less than 26mm wide (between 22-25mm wide), you will need a set of legs for the bottom of the pet door insert.

If your glass sliding door  tracks are wider than standard, you will need to sit the pet door insert on top of the rail, as shown on the photo.

Purchase a Plate $5 to create an angle bracket. One screw goes into bottom of the pet door insert and other leg of the bracket is extended to the end of the track. This will give a pet door extra stability once installed and you will be able to align the locks nicely together.

Lockable Flap Cover is included with your Patio Link Pet door insert.

If you like to make the magnetic resistance weaker, you can remove 1 or both corner black clips from your flap.
